Manage mushroom bed in winter and grow more mushrooms in spring

After harvesting autumn mushroom, mushroom beds will enter into management period of winter. The management degree of mushroom bed plays a decisive role in output of next spring.
1. Moisturizing and ventilation: in winter, people should keep the temperature of greenhouse in above 3 degrees to guarantee a non-icing greenhouse and prevent frozen bad spawn. Before winter, people should check walls of greenhouse carefully, block air leakage place and hang cloth curtain to prevent cold wind. In warm weather, people should pay attention to the ventilation, keep fresh air and open southern window of greenhouse for 2 to 3 hours at noon. When the weather is warm, calm and outdoor temperature is above 8 degrees, people should open north and south window to make air convection. When the outdoor temperature is below 5 degrees at noon, people should stop ventilation.
2. Water-spraying and topdressing: people should determine the frequency of water-spraying by the degree of wet and dry on soil, moist soil should be kept and excess water-spraying should be avoided, people should also combine water-spraying with topdressing, pour boiled and filtered liquid dung, the concentration is 20%.
3. Loosen the soil and remove old root: when spawns have good growth condition and mushroom house has good condition, people can open fine soil of fungi bed and loosen coarse soil. When spawns have common growth condition and mushroom house has common condition, then it is unnecessary to open fine soil and coarse soil can be loosen directly. when spawns have bad growth condition and mushroom house has bad condition, soil-loose can be ignored, before the fruiting of next March and April, people can lightly loosen fine soil and coarse soil. When loosening soil, it is improper to peel white strains, especial those around coarse soil, excess peeling will affect the output of Spring mushroom. When removing old root, people can roll out fine soil and coarse soil, after 1 week of the final soil-loosening and spawns are budding, people can cover a layer of 2 to 3cm depth of soil. 2 or 3 times of water-spraying and topdressing should be done before earthing to provide enough moisture, nutrition and promote the budding and growing of spawns.
