Edible mushroom has delicious flavor, abundant nutrition, high protein, low fat, various Vitamin and 18 kinds of Amino acid.
The requirement of the external environment condition: edible mushrooms are aerobic saprophytic fungus, abundant nutrition, moderate temperature, sufficient water, fresh air, soil and moderate PH Value are needed in the cultivation process. Light plays an unconsidered role in the whole cultivation process.
People should choose places where is in high elevation, with easy drainage and sufficient source of water. People can take vacant field of winter into consideration. In general, one square meter can cultivate 0.6 square meters of mushroom (the rest area is aisle), for two floors, it is 2 multiply 0.6 square meters equals to 1.2 square meters. Three floors is 1.8 square meters. The distance of ground floor and floor should be kept in 10 to 20 centimeters, the distance of each layer is 60 centimeter, the width of aisle is about 50 to 60 centimeter, the width of ridged sowing bed of single channel should be in 0.8 to 0.9, the width of ridged sowing bed of double channel should be in 1.4 to 1.5 meters. 2 or 3 windows of 30*40 centimeter should be set on both sides of aisle.
Sterilization: after putting up shelves, pest-killing and sterilization should be done before feeding in.
Pest-killing: 0.4% to 0.5% of DDVP and 2% of Dicofol can be sprayed.
Sterilization: people can spray by 2% to 3% of bleaching powder and lime water, 0.2% of Carbendazim, 0.2% of Thiophanate or 2% of Formaldehyde can be used as well.
There are many methods of greenhouse-building by bamboo, wood or bamboo chip in fields where has easy drainage and enough water.
1. Circular mushroom greenhouse with 2.4 meters in width, 10 meters in length. The height can be determined by layer of fungi bed. In general, the height of one layer bed is 1 meter, two layers is 1.7 meters, three layers is 2.2 meters. The width of aisle is 0.6 meters.
2. Curved greenhouse with 2.2 meters in height, 4.2 meters in width and 10 meters in length. Ridged sowing bed is 1.5 meters in width and 0.6 width of aisle on both sides of bed. Three ridged sowing beds ( widths are 0.8 meters, 1.5 meters, 0.8 meters), two aisles in three ridged sowing bed are 0.6 meters. Three layers can be 2.2 meters in height, the distance between the first layer and ground is 10 to 20 cm, the distance of the second layer and the first layer is 0.6 meters, the distance of the third layer and the second layer is 0.6 meters.
There are great varieties of composts, those with good quality and low cost are straw, cow dung, pig manure and house dung. Raw materials cannot be rotten or mould. The proportion of Carbon and Nitrogen is 33:1, the proportion of Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium is 4:1.2:3, materials are as follows (calculated in 100 square meters)
1. Dried straw: 3000 Jin
2. Dried cow dung, pig manure, house dung: 2000 Jin
3. Superphosphate 80 Jin
4. Gypsum powder 100 Jin or light Calcium phosphate 50 to 60 Jin.
5. Ammonium bicarbonate 50 Jin.
6. Lime powder 60 Jin.
