The prevention method of diseases and insect pests on Shimeji

During the cultivation process of Shimeji, main insect pests are Trichoderma, Blue Mold, Neurospora and Sciarid. Farmers should follow the idea of “Prevention first, comprehensive prevention and control”.
1. Improve sanitation, clean up the surrounding grass, sundry.
2. Choose fresh materials which are pollution free and don’t appear mouldy. People should expose them in the sun for 1 to 2 days before using, cpmpost should be fully sterilized to reduce source of pollution.
3. Check in time and find out as soon as possible: people should place infectant mushroom bags individually and inject infectant part by using 15% of Mepartricin.
4. When finding insect pest, people can use black light lamp to trap and kill, or spray 25% of Fenvalerate and dilute for 1000 times. Pesticides-spraying is forbidden during the fruiting period.
