Sometimes, the death phenomenon of little mushroom always happen after fruiting when cultivating Oyster mushroom in bags, there are three main reasons: the first reason is the temperature is too high, if sustained high temperature is above 30 degrees all the time, mushroom cups will gradually wither and result in the death of mushroom. The second reason is the humidity is too high or too low, after the formation of tiny buds, if relative humidity is below 80 percent, they will be lack of water and become wither. The last reason is the ventilation is poor, in case of that, it is easy to form “ Big Foot Mushroom”, which is as big as a fist or with thick stipe and small cup.
In a word, special attention should be paid on temperature and humidity when cultivating Oyster mushroom in summer. If you are troubled by too high temperature during the fruiting period, you can utilize well water to spray on greenhouse, intensify ventilation and keep fresh air in greenhouse.
